Its thicker construction also achieves a highly uniform finish on stainless steel.Made with nylon fibres that break more easily to access fresh mineral, the Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning Low Stretch Belt is an excellent choice for low-pressure conditioning such as light grinding, cleaning, blending, and cosmetic finishing applications. Its firm, stretch-resistant backing enhances performance where high belt tensions are required for longer belts or stroke sanders, or when a more aggressive cut is needed. This low stretch version will leave a coarser finish but accomplish a faster cut.
