- Centering tip – ideal for drilling anchoring holes to enhance the precision of hole placement
- Four-cutter full head carbide design – delivers up to 4X life in concrete with rebar (vs Hawera® SDS-plus® two-cutter concrete drill bit)
- Four-cutter head – provides four cutting edges to hit rebar, to help prevent the bit from getting stuck
- Full head carbide – improves strength of the bit tip, reducing breakage upon hitting rebar
- Integrated wear mark – indicates when the bit has been fully worn
- Variable (4-2-2) flute design – aggressively pulls dust away from hole to reduce heat build up, providing more holes per battery charge (compared to standard four-flute design)
The Bosch SDS-plus® Bulldog™ Xtreme Rotary Hammer Bit is longer lasting, due to its proprietary carbide-bonding technology that provides a stronger bond of the four-cutter head to the bit. The bit provides 4X life in concrete with rebar. The centric conical tip guides the bit, resulting in rounder holes, which is important when setting anchors or fasteners. The four-cutter head design features less carbide wear than two-cutter bits, making the user more productive. A wear mark alerts the user when the bit has worn to a level where it’s no longer precise. With an optimized flute design for cooler operation, the bit delivers performance in reinforced concrete or harsh aggregate, plus lightweight and normal weight concrete.
