This new clip makes wire piercing much easier. Just slide the wire into the cradle and screw the pin down into the wire. This method is clean and leaves minimal wire damage. If you have to proceed to pierce the wire, do it the right way with 619.; Works with ES 142-1 test leads featuring straight banana plugs. Generally compatible with most test lead kits, banana jack fits standard 4mm plug size.; Makes testing contact with insulated wires – no wire stripping; Pierces wire insulation sized from 22 to 14 awg, sharp needle minimizes insulation damage.; Contact needle is screwed in/out from the bottom
