Product Overview
The ProMAXX Leo ProKit is precision-engineered to remove broken exhaust manifold bolts in about fifteen minutes per stud (avg.) compared to book time of two hours with actual shop times clocking in at much longer. The Leo ProKit is the go-to-tool to get this repair done quickly and efficiently.
The exhaust manifold mounting bolts in the Power Stroke 6.0L and 6.4L V8 diesel engines are made from a titanium alloy and due to the elevated engine temperatures this engine experiences, they become case hardened and can easily be drilled with our premium machine shop grade gold tooling.
Welding in an aluminum head has the advantage of the weld not fusing to the aluminum, however, that is not the case with a case iron on these engines.
PROMAXX Tool’s machine grade tooling is specially engineered to close tolerances of (+) .000” and (-) .001” and ground straight to ensure accurate and repeatable results in using your new device.
