Packed with features, the OLFA RTY-2/DX Ergonomic Rotary Cutter provides comfortable and safe cutting. A curved handle with cushioned grip eases wrist and hand fatigue. Integrated grooves in the handle prevent slipping and offer added cutting control. The blade activates with a simple squeeze of the trigger. Once released, the blade retracts for the ultimate in safe cutting. Use the safety lock to secure the blade in an open position for continuous cutting. Or lock it in the closed position for safe storage. This cutter can be set for right- or left-handed use with a simple change of the blade position.

For ultimate performance, this cutter is pre-loaded with an OLFA RB45H-1 Endurance Blade. The ultra-sharp Tungsten Steel Blade delivers up to twice the cutting of a standard blade. This means fewer blade changes for improved efficiency. The sharpness of this blade allows for cutting of up to eight layers of cotton fabric in a single pass. Cuts many materials, including wool, cotton, vinyl, leather, paper, and more.

Use this cutter with an OLFA Self-Healing Rotaty Cutting mat to extend blade life. Independent testing confirms the OLFA cutting system provides more cutting. Using an OLFA cutter, blade, and mat together cuts up to 470 more yards than the leading competitor.

Accepts all OLFA 45mm blades, including RB45H-1 Tungsten Steel Endurance Rotary Blade and RB45 Tungsten Steel Rotary Blades; as well as OLFA decorative cutting blades PIB45-1 Stainless Steel Pinking Blade, SCB45-1 Stainless Steel Scallop Blade, and WAB45-1 Stainless Steel Wave Blade.
